About Us
I am Lynne McNicoll and  I am an Ambassador in Scotland  for Teenage Cancer Trust.
I lead a team of amazing volunteers in the Lothians and Borders areas.
We are all committed to making the lives of teenagers and young adults (aged between 13 and 24) fighting cancer in the East of Scotland better but we need your help.

Many of our volunteers are people with a strong reason to fundraise for Teenage Cancer Trust - parents and siblings of teenagers who have had cancer, parents and siblings of teenagers who are still fighting cancer and parents of teenagers who have died from cancer.
In addition many of the  young people who have had or still have cancer fundraise with us when they can.  They are incredible young people and I am proud to work alongside them.  I have started a blog of life as a volunteer fundraiser - click here if you would like to read it.
Last year we fundraised in the name of Zoe - a fantastic teenager who lost her fight with cancer in September 2007 - the final total raised at the end of December 2008 was £252,000.   I think she would have been proud of us.

Introducing two more members of our team - on the left in the yellow jersey is Donald McPherson and taking the kick is his son Kyle.
Kyle had cancer three years ago and is a keen supporter and fundraiser for TCT. In fact, the whole McPherson family are amazing supporters. This photo was taken at the first annual charity rugby match organised by Kyle.
